ENAMELS<\/h1>\n

My enamels originated from Sfinx \u010cesk\u00e9 Bud\u011bjovice in those days it was our biggest factory for enameled crockery. It was a huge, fascinating and harsh work place where about 2 000 people were employed. I started to make sculptures from bent metal sheets. I enameled the sculptures between dishes in tunnel kilns. I was making use of semi-finished and defective products. In the 90\u2018s the factory was closed which practically finished my enamel period as there weren\u2019t any similar kilns in other factories.<\/p>\n
